“Around this time last year I was homeless, hopeless, and addicted. I am blessed that a place like the Hope Resource Center existed. Through my connection with Hope I met Scott. His compassion, kindness and story of growth and strength motivated me to want a better life as well. Now I am clean and sober. I own a construction company and am doing well. If not for meeting Linda, Scott, Zach and everyone else I'd either be dead or back in jail by now. That being said, I'd like to make sure that Hope is able to continue to be a light in some people's darkest days for years to come. Addiction Academy was an educational conference offering quality training in the area of substance use disorder and comprehensive treatment. Addiction Academy is a collaborative event of the Westside Recovery Alliance, comprised of The Hope Resource Center, Lower Lights Ministries, and Sanctuary Night. What a great event with over 200 attendees!

You may help by donating wish list items or make a cash donation (your cash donation is tax deductible). The Hope Resource Center receives funding from the Franklin County Justice Policy & Programs. The grant covers 100% of our operating expenses (salaries, office expenses, marketing materials, etc.). As a result, 100% of your cash donations go directly in service to our brothers and sisters living on the streets battling addiction and homelessness! The Hope Resource Center offers four weekly recovery support groups conducted by trained staff in trauma and addiction therapy. Three of our groups are faith-based. Many of our folks from the street or in treatment are not able to participate in our groups due to lack of transportation. We are also limited in our transportation options for getting our people to treatment, medical appointments, court dates, etc. Does anyone have a 12-15 person transport van lying around that you can donate and receive a tax write-off?
